North Cornwall and Caradon Inter-link
Through the Cornwall Infrastructure Partnership ECCVS runs the North Cornwall and Caradon Inter-links which are part of Cornwall Inter-link. The Inter-links enable voluntary and community sector organisations to meet on a regular basis in local areas to network and share information.
Governance
Previously, through the Cornwall Infrastructure Partnership, ECCVS ran a Governance Project to deliver training on Governance issues for trustees and those working to support Voluntary and Community Sector organisations in Cornwall. This particular project has ended, but during the life of the project Anna Hoyle, the Fieldwork Manager, was invited on to the board of the National Governance Hub. This allows ECCVS to make sure that the voice of Trustees within rural areas is heard at a national strategic level.
Signpost
ECCVS produces the county wide "Signpost" newsletter which is published bi-monthly and is distributed widely to the voluntary and community sector and to the statutory sector and private bodies.
ECCVS has an established track record in working with groups in rural communities and has firmly established itself as a source of help in matters of funding, governance, community development, and training for voluntary and community groups in East Cornwall.
